The Los Angeles Lakers resorted to a blistering third period to dismantle their inferior opponent, eviscerating the Indiana Pacers 122-99 on the strength of a 36-10 burst over the final nine minutes of the 3rd quarter. The Lakers came out flat in the first half, allowing the likes of Earl Watson and some guy named Josh McRoberts to run roughshod over them in the early going before getting their act together in the second half, not unlike what they did against the Denver Nuggets at Staples on Sunday
